- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. margarine, softened
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
- 1 c. nuts (optional)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2In large bowl mix margarine, sugars, vanilla and eggs with mixer.

3Gradually add flour until well blended.

4Stir in chips and nuts.

5Spread in greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan.

6Bake at 375° for 40 minutes.

7(Check after 30 minutes.)

8Cool, then cut into squares.
