Chocolate Chip Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 2-3/4 cups Flour
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1-1/2 Tablespoon Cocoa (powdered)
  • 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Butter (2 Sticks)
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 whole 12 Oz Package Of Chocolate Chips

Directions

    Mix all dry ingredients in one bowl. Mix wet ingredients together in separate bowl and then add to dry ingredients, then mix well.

    Roll the chocolate chips in flour (so they don't sink to the bottom of the pan when cooking), then fold into the cake mixture.

    You can bake as a layer cake or bundt. I usually do a bundt, but it's good either way!

    Bake the layer cake for 35 minutes. Bake the bundt for about 1.5 hours.
