Chocolate Chip Upside-Down Cake

   Melt butter in microwave or on stove. Add brown sugar and stir well. Pour butter/brown sugar mixture into a well-greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle liberally with chocolate chips. Mix cake mix according to directions. Pour cake mix batter on top of chocolate chips. Bake according to package directions until toothpick comes out clean and sides are pulling away from pan. Remove from oven. Let set a few minutes and invert on serving dish. Elevate cake pan, letting icing settle on cake. Serve warm with ice cream.
