  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 23 cup water
  • 1 1/2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup baby-food prunes

    Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

    In another bowl, stir sugar and water with fork or wire whisk until blended.

    Stir egg whites and prunes into sugar mixture until thoroughly blended.

    Gradually add flour mixture, stirring until smooth.
