  • 1/2 c. buttermilk or 1/2 c. sweet milk and 2 Tbsp. vinegar, mixed well
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 5 tsp. cocoa (more if desired)

Directions

    Mix flour and sugar in pan.

    Add eggs and buttermilk or sweet milk-vinegar mixture.

    In saucepan, bring water, oleo, oil and cocoa to boil.

    Pour mixture into flour and sugar.
