  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. soda

Directions

    Heat margarine, water, and cocoa over low heat.

    Do NOT boil. Mix flour, sugar, and salt and pour chocolate mixture into this. Then mix all other ingredients together.

    Batter will be very thin.

    Bake in a 13 x 9 pan at 350° for 30 minutes or until done. Let cool.
