  • 3 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 5/8 cup dark chocolate
  • 1 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 11/16 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/3 teaspoon powdered sugar approximately

    Melt 50 grams of dark chocolate with the butter over very low heat (or over a double boiler or in the microwave).

    Beat the eggs and the sugar with an electric mixer until foamy.

    Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture and combine well.

    Sift the flour with the baking powder and the cocoa and add it to the egg mixture.

    Finely chop the remaining 50 grams of dark chocolate and incorporate it well with the batter.

    Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for a few hours.

    Preheat the oven to 180C.

    Shape the dough into 24 balls, coat them in powdered sugar and place them on a wax paper lined baking sheet a few inches apart.

    Bake the cookies for approximately 12 minutes.
