  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 c. plus 5 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. plus 5 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. cocoa

Directions

    Cream together margarine, sugars and eggs until light and fluffy.

    Mix all dry ingredients together and then add to creamed mixture a little at a time.

    Add vanilla.

    Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes, until they look a little cracked.

    Do not overbake!
