Chocolate Covered Bananas

  • 6 bananas, more green than yellow
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate morsels
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil

    Chop bananas in 1/2- to 1-inch medallions.

    Place the semi-sweet morsels and 1 tbsp.

    oil in a double boiler over medium heat.

    Once chocolate is melted dip one side of the banana slices into the chocolate and set on the undipped part on wax paper.

    Next melt the white chocolate morsels with the remaining oil, but instead of dipping the bananas again just add a dot of white chocolate to the tops of each banana.

    Once you are completely done, place the bananas in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
