- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 qt. buttermilk
- 5 c. flour
- 2 c. boiling water
- 5 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. bran flakes
- 4 c. All-Bran
Directions

1In a very large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.

2Add eggs; then gradually add buttermilk and flour, stirring until smooth.

3Add water and soda.

4By hand, add bran flakes

5and All-Bran.

6Batter will refrigerate for up to 6 weeks, if you want to bake a few each day.

7Bake in 1/2 full muffin tins at 375° for 30 minutes.

8Yields 6 dozen.
