  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. salad ol
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

    Sift first 3 ingredients together in 9 x 13-inch pan and make 3 holes for liquid.

    Over all pour 2 cups cold water.

    Mix with fork until well blended (no lumps).

    Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 375°.

    Frost with favorite frosting.
