- 2 sticks oleo, softened
- 2 lb. powdered sugar
- 4 oz. German chocolate bar
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 11 oz. cream cheese
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Put chocolate in saucepan and melt in 1/4 cup water.

2Cool. (May boil water and add chocolate.)

3Cream together oleo and cheese.

4Gradually add the 2 pounds powdered sugar.

5Mix well. Add chocolate mixture to this.

6Beat until well blended.

7Remove 3 cups (or about 1/2 of this) mixture and set aside, covered.
