  • 1/3 c. cocoa
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 1 1/4 c. Milnot
  • 9-inch pie shell, baked
  • 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

    Heat water and Milnot until hot.

    Mix 3/4 cup sugar, cocoa, flour and salt.

    Add hot milk and cook until almost thick.

    Beat egg yolks.

    Pour 1/2 of mix in egg yolks.

    Stir, pour back in pan and cook until thick.

    Pour in a 9-inch baked pie shell.
