- 1 (9 inch) baked pie shell
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 cups milk
- 3 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- Whipped cream
Directions

1Combine cocoa, sugar, salt and cornstarch in medium saucepan. Gradually blend milk into dry ingredients, stirring until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it boils; boil one minute.

2Remove from heat.

3Blend in butter or margarine and vanilla.

4Pour into cooled baked pie crust.

5Quickly press plastic wrap directly onto pie filling; cool.

6Chill 3 to 4 hours. Garnish with whipped cream.
