Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup self rising flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter (softened)
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 350.

    Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa into a large bowl.

    Beat the eggs with the sugar and butter.
  4. 4
    Make a well in the dry ingredients and add the egg mixture, then stir to mix beating to a smooth batter.

    Mix in the chocolate chips.

    Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.

    When the cake is ready decorate it as you like.

    I like mine with coolwhip and a drizzle of chocolate and caramel syrup.
