- 6 slices cooked bacon
- 1 8-inch unbaked pie shell
- 6 slices swiss cheese, about 2 x 3 inches,thin slices
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 14 teaspoon nutmeg
- 12 teaspoon salt
- fresh ground black pepper
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2Crumble bacon and sprinkle into piecrust.

3Arrange cheese slices over bacon.

4Combine eggs, cream, flour, nutmeg, salt, pepper and cayenne in a mixing bowl and beat briskly with wire whisk for at least 1 minute.

5Pour into piecrust.

6Bake for 15 minutes.

7Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for additional 30 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.

8The pie will be slightly puffed and golden.
