Chocolate Dream Cake

Ingredients

• Cake:
• 1 package (18.25 ounces) devil's food cake mix
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 cup water
• 1/3 cup vegetable oil
• 3 large eggs
• Chocolate Mousse Frosting:
• 2 1/2 cups Chilled Heavy Cream; divided
• 5 tablespoons vanilla instant pudding mix
• 4 large egg yolks
• 4 tablespoons light corn syrup
• 1 tablespoon vanilla
• 7 oz fine quality sweetened bittersweet chocolate, chopped
• Ganache glaze
• 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
• 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
• 4 ounces bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped
• 2 ounces gourmet dark chocolate, chopped
• 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, room temperature
• Garnish with whipped cream or white whipped frosting
