Chocolate Filled Marshmallow Bars Recipe

- 6 c. puffed rice
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/3 c. chunk-style peanut butter
- 32 lg. marshmallows
- 1 (6 ounce.) pkg. chocolate chips
Directions

1Heat puffed rice in shallow pan in preheated oven at 350 degrees about 10 min.

2Pour into large, greased bowl.

3Combine butter, peanut butter, and marshmallows in top of double boiler.

4Heat over warm, not boiling, water till melted.

5Stir occasionally.

6Pour over puffed rice, stirring till all kernels are proportionately coated.

7Firmly press half of mix into greased 7 x 11 inch pan.

8Sprinkle chocolate chips over top.

9Place in preheated 350 degree oven 2 to 3 min or possibly till chocolate is softened.

10Remove from oven; spread chocolate with spatula.

11Press remaining puffed rice mix over chocolate.

12Cold; cut into bars.
