  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 Tbsp. Karo syrup
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

    Mix ingredients and boil to soft ball stage or 234°.

    Add butter and vanilla.

    Let stand until cool.

    Beat until creamy. Pour into buttered plate.

    Cool and cut in squares.
