- 2 c. heavy cream
- 4 egg yolks
- 10 packets sugar substitute
- 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 Tbsp. unsweetened chocolate syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Heat cream in a heavy saucepan over low heat.

2Whisk in egg yolks, one at a time.

3Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture coats the back of a spoon.

4Do not let boil.

5Remove from heat.

6Whisk in sugar substitute, cocoa powder, chocolate syrup and vanilla extract.

7Cool to room temperature.

8Pour custard into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturers instructions.
