  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
  • 1 (14 oz.) can condensed milk
  • 2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. whipping cream, whipped

Directions

    Prepare baked pie shell.

    Cook first three ingredients in top of double boiler over hot water until thick.

    Add water slowly and let thicken again.

    Stir in vanilla.

    Pour into pie shell; refrigerate.

    Serve with whipped cream on top.

    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
