Chocolate Icing For Layer Cake

- 2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. evaporated milk
Directions

1Mix all ingredients in heavy saucepan.

2Bring to boil on medium heat.

3Boil for 2 minutes.

4Watch carefully!

5Try not to stir. Remove from heat and cool.

6When cool, stir thoroughly and spread on layers.

7Icing is thin, may have to spoon back on cake as it runs down sides.

8Lots of work but worth it!
