Chocolate Macaroon Bars

  • 1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
  • 1/3 c. butter, melted
  • 1 (14 oz.) sweetened, condensed milk
  • 2 2/3 c. coconut
  • 2 c. fresh white bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 c. mini chocolate chips

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Combine graham crackers, sugar, cocoa and butter; press firmly on bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Bake 10 minutes.

    In medium bowl combine remaining ingredients; mix well. Spoon evenly over prepared crust.

    Bake 30 minutes or until lightly brown.

    Cool and cut into bars.

    Store covered in refrigerator. Makes 24 to 36 bars.
