- onions, chopped

- carrots, chopped
- 1 c. barley
- 1 can tomatoes (optional)

Directions

1In large soup pot, combine onions, carrots and celery with water. Simmer with salt pork, barley and potatoes until tender. Season to taste. Add pieces of fish last. Simmer until fish is cooked through.
