  • 1 gal. DREAM WHIP Whipped Topping Mix
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 qt. Prepared JELL-O Chocolate Flavor Sugar Free Reduced Calorie Instant Pudding
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

    Prepare whipped topping as directed on package, substituting cold strong brewed coffee for the cold water.

    Prepare cake batter as directed on package.

    Pour evenly into 3 full (2-inch) hotel pans (or 1 half [2-inch] hotel pan for trial recipe).

    Bake as directed; cool completely.

    Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.

    Split each cake horizontally into 3 even layers.

    Place 1 cake layer in bottom of each of 3 (4-inch) hotel pans (or 1 pan for trial recipe); cover with 1/2 of the pudding, second cake layer and remaining pudding.

    Top with third cake layer; spread with whipped topping mixture.
