Chocolate Mousse Pie

Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Baker's semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/4 c. water
- 8 eggs, separated
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2/3 c. sugar
Directions

1Heat chocolate with water in top of double boiler, stirring until smooth.

2Stir in egg yolks; add vanilla.

3Beat egg whites in large mixing bowl until foamy throughout.

4Gradually beat in sugar until stiff peaks form, about 8 minutes.

5Stir a small amount into chocolate mixture to lighten; fold chocolate mixture into remaining whites.

6Pour 4 cups into a buttered 9-inch pie pan sprinkled with sugar.

7Chill remaining mixture.

8Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or just until set.

9Cool slightly, then chill 1 hour. Center will fall, forming shell.

10Spoon chilled chocolate mixture into chilled shell.

11Chill 3 hours or overnight.

12Garnish with chocolate curls and whipped cream.
