Chocolate Peanut Pie

  • 1 baked (8-inch) pie shell
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. chocolate pudding and pie filling mix
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/3 c. chopped salted peanuts

    Combine pudding mix, brown sugar, chocolate and 1/4 cup milk in saucepan.

    Add egg yolks and blend well.

    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly

    until mix comes to a boil.
