  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Directions

    Combine sugar, corn syrup and salt in 1-1/2 qt glass bowl or casserole.

    Microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes.

    Stir in pecans.

    Microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring every 2 minutes.

    Add butter, vanilla and chocolate; stir until chocolate is melted.

    Pour mixture onto greased baking sheet, spreading as thin as possible, using 2 forks.

    Cool and break into small pieces.
