  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chocolate chips

    Beat eggs with sugar, salt and vanilla.

    Add the flour.

    Mix together.

    Add melted butter and mix.

    Add corn syrup; mix.

    Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Bake at 400° for 10 minutes, then at 375° for 25 minutes or until firm on top.
