- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. Baker's German's sweet chocolate
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1 c. corn syrup
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. pecan halves
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Microwave chocolate and margarine or butter in a large microwavable bowl on High for 2 minutes or until margarine or butter is completely melted.

3Stir in corn syrup, sugar, eggs and vanilla until well blended.

4Stir in pecans, reserving 8 halves for garnish, if desired.

5Pour filling into pie shell.

6Bake for 55 minutes or until knife inserted 1-inch from center comes out clean.

7Cool on wire rack.

8Garnish with whipped topping and reserved pecan halves, if desired.
