- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell
Directions

1Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium mixing bowl; mix well. Stir in pecans, vanilla, and salt. Pour mixture into pastry shell. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°, and continue baking 30 minutes.
