  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 12 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans (chopped)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350.

    Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the bottom of the uncooked pie shell and set aside.

    In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, and flour, until well mixed; add eggs, one at a time and mix well.

    Add the vanilla and pecans, mix and pour evenly into pie shell on top of the chocolate chips.

    Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until set.

    Let cool completely.
