  • 1 c. corn syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • 1/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

    In large bowl, combine corn syrup, eggs, sugar, butter and salt.

    Beat until blended.

    Beat in melted chocolate.

    Stir in pecans.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Bake on lower rack of preheated 375° oven, until filling is completely puffed across top and crusted over, 55 to 60 minutes.
