Chocolate Pecan Pie

  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Combine chocolate, evaporated milk and butter in saucepan. Over low heat, cook mixture until smooth.

    In separate bowl, beat eggs and add sugar, flour, salt, vanilla and pecans; mix well. Add this mix to cooked mixture.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 375° for 40 minutes.

    Filling should be firm.

    May be served with whipped cream.
