  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. baking cocoa
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 baked 9-inch pie shell
  • 1 recipe meringue

Directions

    Combine sugar, cocoa and flour in saucepan.

    Add milk and egg yolks; mix well.

    Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.

    Add butter; mix well.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Spread meringue over filling, sealing to edge.

    Bake at 350° until light brown.
