  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 pt. sweet milk
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix cornstarch, flour and sugar.

    Add milk and egg yolks that have been beaten.

    Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.

    Cool slightly; pour into baked pie crust.

    Cover with meringue made from egg whites and bake in slow oven at 250° to 300° until brown.
