  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 lb. sweet chocolate, grated
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 9-inch pie shell, unbaked

Directions

    Beat yolks slightly; add sugar and beat thoroughly.

    Add vanilla, chocolate and milk.

    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into deep 9-inch pie plate lined with pastry.

    Bake 15 minutes at 450°, then 30 minutes at 325°.

    Cool, then cover with whipped cream.
