- 2 sticks margarine
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3 c. flour (plain)
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream margarine and shortening.

2Gradually add sugar.

3Add eggs, one at a time.

4Sift flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa. Add milk and flour alternately.

5Add vanilla.

6Place in greased and floured tube pan.

7Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes in 325° oven.
