  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. plain all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. milk

    Cream together butter and Crisco; add sugar, then eggs, one at a time.
