- 3 c. sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 c. whole milk
- 3 1/4 c. cake flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 6 large eggs
- 5 Tbsp. cocoa
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients together.

2Blend Crisco and margarine until fluffy.

3Add sugar gradually (while mixing) until dissolved. Add 1 whole egg at a time, mixing after each one, until all are added.

4Continue mixing, adding dry ingredients and alternating with milk.

5Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325° for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
