- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 c. flour (plain)
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream margarine and Crisco, adding sugar gradually.

2Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa.

4Add to mixture alternately with milk.

5Add vanilla.

6Pour batter into tube pan that has been well-greased and floured.

7Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.

8Place shallow pan of water on bottom of oven.
