- 2 c. whipping cream
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 c. coarsely chopped pecans
- 1 (18 1/4 oz.) pkg. devil's food cake mix with pudding
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1/3 c. oil
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 c. confectioners sugar
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- whole pecans for garnish (optional)
- chocolate curls for garnish (optional)
Directions

1Heat oven to 325°.

2In a small, heavy saucepan, combine butter, 1/4 cup whipping cream and the brown sugar.

3Cook over low heat just until butter melts, stirring occasionally.

4Divide mixture between two 9-inch round cake pans.
