- 1 cup flour
- 34 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 12 cup milk
- 12 cup sugar
- 14 cup cocoa
- 12 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions

1Boil 2 cups of water.

2In a 2 1/2 quart greased casserole combine flour, sugar, first amount of cocoa, baking powder and salt.

3Add vanilla, oil and milk.

4Mix until well combined.

5Stir in nuts, if using.

6Spread out evenly.

7Combine second amounts of sugar and cocoa and sprinkle over top of cake.

8Gently pour boiling water over top.

9Cook on high in a microwave for 9 minutes.
