Chocolate Rum Bread Pudding

- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 1/2 tablespoons dark rum
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 4 cups white bread, 1 inch cubes
- whipped cream
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.

2In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and cream.

3Add sugar, cinnamon, rum, salt, cocoa, bittersweet chocolate and whisk until well combined.

4Spread bread over the bottom of a buttered 2 qt baking dish.

5Pour the egg-cream mixture over the bread and let sit 10 minutes.

6Place the baking dish inside a larger baking pan, add enough boiling water to reach halfway up the baking dish.

7Bake 50- 60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

8Serve warm with whipped cream.
