Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 4 sq. chocolate
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Melt butter in insert of double boiler set over simmering water.

    Add chocolate.

    When chocolate has melted, add evaporated milk and cook together.

    Add sugar and cook until sauce thickens. Add vanilla.

    Store in quart jar in refrigerator.

    Warm over hot water when needed.
