- 3 sq. bitter chocolate
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt chocolate over hot water or low heat.

2Add water, slowly stirring until smooth.

3Add sugar and syrup.

4Boil until soft stage (235°).

5Remove from heat, add evaporated milk slowly, then add vanilla.

6Yields 2 1/2 cups.
