  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 sticks butter (1 c.)
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

  1. 1
    Sift together sugar and flour. Set aside. Put butter, cocoa and water and bring to boil. Pour over sugar and flour mixture. Add baking soda, vanilla, eggs and buttermilk. Mix well. Add cinnamon and bake 30 minutes at 400° in 13 x 9 x 2 dish.
