  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    In large bowl mix flour, sugar and salt. Melt oleo, cocoa and water; bring to a boil.

    Pour melted mixture over flour (it will be thin).

    Add buttermilk, eggs, soda, cinnamon and vanilla.

    Bake in 11 x 17-inch sheet pan 20 minutes at 400°.
