  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 4 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Melt 2 sticks oleo.

    Add cocoa and water.

    Bring to boil and pour hot mixture over dry ingredients.

    Add 1/2 cup buttermilk, eggs and vanilla; mix well.

    Pour into greased cookie sheet.

    Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350°.
