- 10 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
- 10 oz. unsalted butter plus butter for pan
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 8 large eggs
Directions

1Butter a 9 x 1 1/2-inch round cake pan liberally.

2Line the bottom with wax paper and butter the paper.

3Preheat oven to 350°. In top of double boiler, melt the chocolate over hot water.

4Add the butter and stir until the butter has melted and the mixture is smooth.

5Remove from heat.

6Whisk the sugar gradually into the chocolate mixture until smooth.

7In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until foamy.

8Then stir into chocolate mixture.
